Our Roots & Heritage (Since 1940)
Heritage est plus une aventure émotionnelle qu'une aventure pratique. Ce n'est pas seulement un projet de rêve, mais une responsabilité que sa fondatrice, Mme Deepali Gupta, a assumée. Bien qu'elle ait une entreprise de fabrication de perles bien établie en Inde depuis plus de 8 décennies, Mme Deepali s'est installée au Royaume-Uni avec son mari et ses deux filles. Ils menaient une vie très satisfaisante jusqu'à ce que la COVID frappe durement. Être loin de leurs familles en Inde à un moment aussi crucial l'a rapprochée émotionnellement de sa famille. C'est ainsi qu'elle et son mari ont décidé conjointement de déménager en Inde. Bien que les affaires soient toujours sa priorité, le destin en a décidé autrement. Malheureusement, elle a perdu son frère aîné dans la famille, M. Akash Gupta, à cause de la Covid (pandémie). Son projet de rêve, Dastakaari1940.com, s'est donc arrêté. Pour maintenir son rêve en vie et offrir une perspective commerciale future à ses filles, Mme Deepali s'est lancée dans le monde des affaires. Travailler avec la variété de perles et de bijoux fantaisie chez Dastakaari1940 l'a intriguée et elle a collatéralement lancé Heritage comme une extension de Dastakaari1940.

The meteoric rise and global expansion of the company were heavily driven by the strategic vision, leadership, and operational scale brought in by Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta. Under his guidance, the business expanded into modern manufacturing facilities, streamlined supply chain networks across Delhi, Noida, and regional hubs, and established a firm footing in international markets. His commitment to quality standards transformed local bead-making into a globally recognized industry.
Today, the modern lineage continues with visionary leadership through initiatives like Bijoux1940 and Dastakaari. Spearheaded by Mrs. Deepali Gupta and inspired by the late Mr. Akash Gupta, the contemporary brand reimagines classic craftsmanship for today’s eco-conscious and fashion-forward consumer—introducing innovations like India's first skin-safe, lead-free handcrafted jewelry.
