Our Roots & Heritage (Since 1940)
Heritage ist eher ein emotionales als ein praktisches Unterfangen. Es ist nicht nur ein Traumprojekt, sondern eine Verantwortung, die sich die Gründerin, Frau Deepali Gupta, selbst auferlegt hat. Obwohl sie in Indien seit über 8 Jahrzehnten ein gut etabliertes Geschäft mit der Herstellung von Perlen hatte, ließ sich Frau Deepali mit ihrem Mann und ihren beiden Töchtern in Großbritannien nieder. Sie führten ein sehr zufriedenes Leben, bis COVID hart zuschlug. Die Entfernung zu ihren Familien in Indien in einer so entscheidenden Zeit brachte sie emotional näher an die Familie heran. Und so beschlossen sie und ihr Mann gemeinsam, ihren Wohnsitz nach Indien zu verlegen. Obwohl das Geschäft immer noch an erster Stelle stand, hatte das Schicksal andere Pläne. Leider verlor sie ihren älteren Bruder, Herrn Akash Gupta, aufgrund von Covid (Pandemie). Sein Traumprojekt, Dastakaari1940.com, kam somit zum Stillstand. Um seinen Traum am Leben zu erhalten und seinen Töchtern eine zukünftige Geschäftsperspektive zu bieten, stieg Frau Deepali in die Geschäftswelt ein. Die Arbeit mit der Vielfalt der Perlen und des Modeschmucks bei Dastakaari1940 faszinierte sie, und so gründete sie Heritage als Erweiterung von Dastakaari1940.

The meteoric rise and global expansion of the company were heavily driven by the strategic vision, leadership, and operational scale brought in by Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta. Under his guidance, the business expanded into modern manufacturing facilities, streamlined supply chain networks across Delhi, Noida, and regional hubs, and established a firm footing in international markets. His commitment to quality standards transformed local bead-making into a globally recognized industry.
Today, the modern lineage continues with visionary leadership through initiatives like Bijoux1940 and Dastakaari. Spearheaded by Mrs. Deepali Gupta and inspired by the late Mr. Akash Gupta, the contemporary brand reimagines classic craftsmanship for today’s eco-conscious and fashion-forward consumer—introducing innovations like India's first skin-safe, lead-free handcrafted jewelry.
